Construction took 18 months and all apartments were sold off-plan prior to completion of building works.

Shaftesbury Works is a strategic site on Holloway Road, right in the heart of Highbury Fields. We secured planning permission for the redevelopment of the site to provide 58 apartments with an additional 20,000 sq ft of retail space below.

Detailed proposals were worked up and negotiated with the local planning authority, the London Borough of Islington. The planning authority considered our scheme a major regeneration opportunity for the area around Highbury Corner and was supportive of our plans. After some 12 months of complex negotiations and many revisions to the proposed scheme, planning consent was granted by the Planning Committee.

During the planning process we also secured an agreement with Tesco Stores Limited to take the ground and basement floor of the building which assisted in financially underpinning the development.

Construction took 18 months and all apartments were sold off-plan prior to completion of building works.

Each property benefits from an integrated open plan kitchen with living area, large double bedroom and a spacious and modern bathroom. They have concierge service during the week and are located within a secured development and share a communal garden.
