We are always interested in meeting or being introduced to owners of land or property with potential for redevelopment. We partner with landowners and homeowners who seek to maximise the value of their property by leveraging Danehurst’s ability to redevelop it.
Typically, we will agree to purchase a plot with potential for redevelopment subject to obtaining planning permission within an agreed timeframe. We then draw up a detailed development proposal for the site.
Removing the planning risk in this way allows us to pay landowners a premium price over and above market rate – a risk/reward sharing arrangement between the landowner and Danehurst.
It’s an attractive proposition that has led to all our developments to date originating from an approach made to us by land or property owners.
If you believe you have, or know of, a site that meets our requirements please contact us here or call Richard Rose or Bob Bratland on 020 8090 1612. You have our assurance that you will always deal directly with Danehurst’s directors when exploring an opportunity.
The sites we look for typically share some of the following characteristics:
- Buildings or houses set in large plots of land
- Opportunity to combine more than one property to maximise development potential
- Within or close to the M25
- Not in green belt
- Not a school playing field or area of natural beauty
While we are not unique in our requirements, you will find that our ‘win win’ ethos is.
“As developers, they take a very active and hands-on role in the project management of the development and impressed me with their grasp of the property, legal and financial aspects of the project.”
